We go easy on the cookies: the only one we set is the one that keeps you logged in to your account. There are no advertising, third-party or analytics cookies: we count visits without cookies and without storing your IP.
This is a translation for convenience; in case of discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser to remember something from one page to the next. Some are essential for the site to work (for example, so you are not logged out of your account) and others are used to track you. There are none of the second kind here.
The ones we use
Your browser also stores two more things, just as technical: a copy of the website’s files (so it loads quickly and you can see something even without signal) and the draft of your request while you write it, so you do not lose it if you reload by mistake. They go when you close the tab or clear your browser, and they are not sent anywhere.
Our own analytics, without cookies
We want to know which pages are visited so we can improve the website, and that can be done without tracking anyone: we do not use analytics cookies or persistent identifiers. We count visits with an anonymous hash that is calculated on our server and rotates every 24 hours; we do not store your IP address.
In plain English: when a visit comes in, we combine your IP, your browser and today’s date, and that produces a scrambled number that cannot be reversed. That number tells us that two consecutive pages were seen by the same person, and nothing more. Tomorrow the same visitor gives a different number, so there is no way to follow you from one day to the next, to know who you are or to recognise you on another website. The IP is used at that instant and discarded: it is not stored in any table.
If you visited the website before August 2026, your browser may still have our old analytics cookie (pulpo_sid) or the one that stored your answer to the banner (pulpo_consent). We no longer use or read them: they are deleted automatically the next time you visit.
The ones we do not use
There is no Google Analytics, no Facebook or Google Ads pixel, no heatmaps and no third-party cookies that follow you around other websites. The analytics are our own and stay on our servers in Germany (European Union).
On what legal basis we set them
Session cookies are essential to provide the service you ask for — logging in to your account — and are therefore exempt from consent under art. 22.2 of Law 34/2002 (LSSI, the Spanish Information Society Services Act). The same applies to the copy of the website’s files and the draft of your request.
For analytics your consent is not needed because we do not store or read anything on your device: it does not fall under art. 22.2. And as we do not keep your IP or any identifier lasting more than a day, we do not build a profile of you either. That is why we no longer cover the website with a cookie banner. If one day we add something that does need consent, we will ask you before switching it on.
How to control it yourself
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge have this under “Privacy”). If you block the technical ones, logging in to your account will stop working. There is nothing to switch off or delete for analytics: it leaves nothing in your browser, and in our database there is only an anonymous number for the day, which cannot be linked to you. If anything worries you, write to us and we will explain it in detail.
More information
What we do with the data we do collect is in the Privacy policy, and who owns the website is in the Legal notice. If you have any questions, write to us at [email protected].
