Here you can see, plainly, who is behind this website and the rules for using it. This is what Spanish Law 34/2002 on information society services (LSSI), article 10, requires.
This is a translation for convenience; in case of discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.

What Octo Service is
Octo Service puts people who need a job done at home (plumbing, electrics, handyman work, painting, cleaning, renovations and similar) in touch with professionals who work in Valencia and the surrounding area, and coordinates the job from the request until it is finished.
Asking for a quote is free and does not commit you to anything. The price is agreed with you before work starts: the amounts shown on the website (the “from X €” figures) are guide prices to give you an idea, not a binding offer.
How this website is used
Browsing octo-service.com makes you a user and means you accept what this legal notice says. The terms for hiring a job (quote, payment, timescales, withdrawal) are set out separately in the Terms and conditions (in Spanish).
- You can browse and ask for a quote without registering.
- The details you give us (your phone number, the address, what has broken) must be yours and true: we use them to send a professional to your home.
- The website may not be used for anything illegal, nor to try to bring it down, get into other people’s accounts or extract data automatically.
- If you open a customer or professional account, the access code is single-use and is sent to your phone: keep it to yourself.
Website content and branding
The Octo Service name, the design, the texts, the illustrations and the software of this site belong to its owner. You may share links to the website without asking permission; to copy or reuse content, write to us first.
Liability
- We try to keep everything published up to date and correct, but there may be typos or prices that become out of date. What counts is the quote we confirm to you.
- The website may be down for a while for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control; if so, WhatsApp is always available.
- If we link from here to another website (for example, WhatsApp), what happens there is governed by its own terms, not ours.
Your data and cookies
How we handle your personal data is explained in the Privacy policy, and which cookies we use, in the Cookie policy.
Applicable law and complaints
This website is governed by Spanish law. If something has not gone well, the first and quickest step is to write to us at [email protected] and we will look into it.
If you are a consumer and we cannot reach an agreement, you can go to the Municipal Consumer Information Office (Oficina Municipal de Información al Consumidor, OMIC) of your town hall, to the consumer services of the Generalitat Valenciana or to the Consumer Arbitration Board (Junta Arbitral de Consumo). If it came to court proceedings, the competent courts would be those that apply by law: as a consumer, those of your place of residence.
