Price and payment

How much will it cost me?

It depends on the job, but it won’t come as a surprise. We look at what you tell us and the photos and send you a fixed, itemised quote: labour, materials if needed and the call-out. That’s the price you pay.

When and how do I pay?

When the job is done. In cash, by Bizum or by bank transfer, whichever suits you. A large job can be split: part at the start for materials and the rest at the end. All of that is written into the quote before anyone starts.

Are materials extra?

Yes, and you see them separately in the quote: labour on one line, materials on another. If they’re bought for you, you get the receipt. If you’d rather buy them yourself, that’s fine too: we tell you what’s needed.

Getting a quote

Does the quote commit me to anything?

No. It’s free, and you can say no without giving a reason and without paying anything.

How quickly do you reply?

Usually in under 2 hours. If you write in the middle of the night, first thing in the morning. And if your job needs a visit before we can give a price, we tell you in that same reply.

Do I have to register?

Not to get a quote: you fill in the form in two minutes with your phone number and that’s it. If you then want to follow the job from your account, you log in with the same phone number and a code we send you on WhatsApp. No passwords.

The day of the job

Who comes to my home?

An independent professional who works with us, from the right trade and from your area. You see their name and phone number in your account before they arrive, so you know who you’re opening the door to.

Do I need to be at home?

To open the door and show where the problem is, yes. After that you don’t need to stay: the professional lets you know when they’ve finished and, if you like, sends photos of the finished work to your account.

Do you do emergencies?

A water leak, a fuse box that keeps tripping, a lock that won’t open: message us on WhatsApp and that job goes to the front of the queue. We’re not a 24-hour emergency service, so if we can’t make it today, we tell you straight rather than keep you waiting.

Guarantee and problems

What if something else turns up halfway through?

Nobody raises the price on their own. If something that couldn’t be seen turns up once things are opened, the professional tells us, the proposal with the new price arrives in your account and you decide: accept it, or turn it down and it stays as it was.

How long is the guarantee?

It depends on the job and is written into the quote: putting up a shelf isn’t the same as replacing an installation. If something fails within that period because of how it was done, someone comes back and fixes it free of charge.

What if something isn’t done properly?

You tell us, not the professional. We send back the same person who did the job to put it right, without you paying twice for the same thing. What’s covered and what isn’t is set out in the terms we send with the quote.
